SUPPORt us

All our monies from subscriptions, auction commission and sales go to support our research and publications, either through our award winning journal Upland Goose or monographs given free to members when published.

We have maintained our subscription pricing for over ten years, in the face of mounting publication and mailing costs. This can mean subscriptions themselves raise very little funds for the Study Group.

If you enjoy being a member and wish to help us a little more financially, below are some suggested ways you can assist. The options range from a simple donation to leaving us a legacy (a small amount of money or part of a collection) or selling part or all of your collection through the Study Group, which means we make auction commission to support our work.

We don't expect all these options to be attractive to all members, but if you could find some small way of supporting our research and publications work, it would be most welcome.

WAYS OF HELPING THE STUDY GROUP

YOU COULD SUPPLEMENT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WITH A DONATION - £10

Click on the Paypal Buy Now button below, to pay £10 UK Pounds via Paypal to supplement your subscription.

This will be much appreciated and acknowledged by the Study Group.

YOU COULD LEAVE THE STUDY GROUP A LEGACY IN YOUR WILL

We can give you advice on wording on making a donation, however large or small,  to the Study Group in your will. Alternatively we have had members leave us part of their collection for auction for Study Group funds. For example, one member left us the postcard part of his collection, the proceeds of which have supported recent publications.

YOU COULD ASK US TO HELP SELL YOUR COLLECTION

For members, we can recommend a strategy for selling your collection, including  selling through auction houses and the Study Group auction. The Study Group benefits through auction commission for items sold through our own auction. This is only advice and the Study Group does not accept any responsibility for selling or guarantee results. Please contact us using the Contact form on the home page, or via the Chairman.
